"Well, it looks like you are going to have the old guy around for a while longer."
-Mark Smith, October 2009
Thank You World.
Thank You God.

This homepage was created for Mark Smith, to spread the word about what an incredible husband, man, father, grandfather and friend he is. Because of the impact he has had on our many lives, we refused to let him battle a very aggressive form of prostate cancer alone. We raised the money needed to make sure he not only had love and support but the money to launch a battle for his life. We could not have done it without the hundreds of people who believed in giving Mark a chance at another go around. Please enjoy the slideshows of Mark's life and currently his adventure in South Korea, where he is receiving not only hope (in an IV) but having the adventure of a lifetime, while meeting many incredible people on the same path!

I haven't yet found the right words to express the gratitude
we all are feeling towards the outpouring of support
that has been generated by the Save Mark Smith effort.
Mark asked me to try to describe it,
and I am not sure the right words exist.
It is enough to make you smile sometimes, cry sometimes
and at the end of the day, know for sure,
that for everything wrong in this world,
there is definately something right and good,
that is way more powerful.
